  1. We will miss Peter greatly! His smile, his big, strong handshakes, and most of all his loving presence. Our prayers are with your family as you have gone through these separations this season and your hearts ache.

One of my fondest memories is sitting beside Peter at the Connect Class and seeing his heart reach out to our new comers to VCC. Peter is a lover of people, salt of the earth , no nonsense man, and he emmulates love and compassion. My life is richer because of his example and I am so greatful for the legacy that he has left not only for his family but also for me. My prayer for all of his family members is that God will grant incredible comfort and strength in the days ahead.
    Much Love

He was a man whom one truly called a man of God. His cheerful smile and wonderful handshake made one feel at home whenever we walked through the doors of Victory Christian Centre. Heaven truly has welcomed an awe-inspiring man into its arms.

We have great memories of Peter. When we were new to the church he would take time to see how we were doing and make sure we were welcomed. He had such a positive, thankful outlook on life. His friendly way of bringing up the energy in a room was an excellent example of living life to the full. We will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as a family. We know you have so many great memories with him. Think on those and know you will see him again!

  5. He was a pioneer for God who persevered faithfully through all times. He left a godly heritage, inspiring others to walk in victory with Jesus. His face glowed with the light of his Lord as he entered the room with no quiet voice “Well, isn’t God good” or “Praise the Lord.” The joy of the Lord certainly was the strength of his life and it was contagious. He will be missed, however we believe, he instilled his God honoring life into his children, his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren and many of them will rise up and bless the name of our God to impact the next generation. To God be the glory.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.

What a beautiful memorial service for an amazing man of God! The whole time we were watching you could just picture Peter standing there with his hands raised and just pumping his arm in the air.
We attended Peter’s memorial in the business centre @ the SeaTac Marriott Hotel in Seattle. (A gray haired gentleman (stranger) sat at the computer next to us only left briefly to let someone else use the computer and he was back again, I believe enthralled at what we were watching and no doubt some of the words spoken were for him)
Wow Peter left such a rich legacy. The words spoken by his children and grandchildren left no doubt and were a clear indication of the life that Peter lived. His legacy also lives on in Victory Christian Centre. It’s hard to even think of our church without Peter because he has always been a huge part of it physically and spiritually. Back in the day of North Surrey High everyone was greeted by Peter picking up garbage in the parking lot and Sunday ended with Peter and Elsy sweeping the gym floor. We are thankful for the many times over the last approx. 23 years he prayed over our family. Peter’s prescence will forever be felt at Victory Christian Centre. Thank you Peter, goodbye until we see your again, we will miss you!
Love and hugs to Elsy and all of the family members from Gerry, Maria & family
P.S. amazing songs on the accordian Pastor John
