We are in the middle of some major house challenges. Our house was built in the ‘leaky condo’ years and has turned out to be one. It is a great test of faith and patience to stay positive when every day they discover more things that need to be fixed. I have kept my eyes on the real important things like my mother going through chemo. This seems to help. My perspective becomes, “Its only stuff.” In the light of eternity, its no big deal.

I too went through the “Leaky Condo” phase and, as with your unit, the more they opened the envelope up the more it required. In fact, they eventually did two seperate repaires in 2 years (1 on the first 3 floors and later the 4 penthouse suites and roof). it is stressful for as they find more and more wrong the bill just keeps climbing and the equity keeps dropping!
Take heart that God knows all our troubles and you are truly blessed for doing what you are called to do….leaving this in the hands of God and continuing on the path He has set before you is a tribute to His love and your faith.
